Dr. Shlash Alzyoud holds a Ph.D. in Mass Communication from The University of Southern Mississippi (2024), a Master’s degree in Communication from Yarmouk University (2017), and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Yarmouk University (2014). He has professional experience in news writing and editing, as well as producing television programs, and teaching communication and media courses, combining practical media skills with academic expertise.
His research interests include journalism studies, digital media, mobile journalism (MOJO), citizen journalism, media analysis, minority representation in media, race and media, journalism and cultural criticism, ideological studies, feminism, and media and culture. Dr. Alzyoud has participated in multiple conferences in the field of media and communication, contributing to scholarly dialogue and professional engagement.
