Dr. Shahd Tareq Humaid is an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design and Multimedia at the Arab Open University – Jordan. She earned her Ph.D. in Graphic Design from Yeditepe University in Turkey, where her research focused on innovative approaches to teaching user interface and mobile app design. With extensive experience in UI/UX, motion graphics, and creative education, Dr. Humaid combines academic expertise with professional practice to bridge design theory and industry application. Her recent work explores curriculum innovation, visual communication, and the integration of AI tools in creative learning environments.

Future Research Interests
Interested in developing new experimental syllabi for visual
communication and multimedia design students that integrate theoretical and
practical dimensions. Future research includes building syllabi for User
Experience Design, Social Media & Design, and Basic Marketing & Design.

project-based learning experiences.
