The Arab Open University – Jordan, represented by its Faculty of Media and Communication, welcomed a delegation from the Military Media Institute, headed by Major Basma Qatamin, to learn about the Faculty's academic experience and explore avenues for strengthening cooperation in the fields of media training and professional development, as well as the exchange of expertise.

The delegation was received by Professor Dr. Tahrir Hamdi, President of the University; Professor Dr. Mufeed Abu Musa, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Anas Ghazalat, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs; and Dr. Faisal Al-Sarhan, Dean of the Faculty of Media and Communication, along with a number of faculty members and students.

The meeting featured an extensive discussion on the Faculty's academic and practical experience, highlighting the importance of developing media skills and expanding opportunities for cooperation in training and professional development, in a way that contributes to preparing qualified media professionals.

Dr. Faisal Al-Sarhan said: “We welcome this visit, which strengthens the exchange of expertise, and we hope it will open new avenues for cooperation in the fields of media training and professional development."

The visit also included a tour of several university facilities, including the Faculty's media studio, where the delegation was briefed on its equipment and its role in supporting the practical and applied aspects of students' education.

The visit reflects Arab Open University – Jordan's commitment to strengthening partnerships with national institutions and leveraging its academic expertise and training capabilities to serve the community and contribute to the development of media and professional competencies.
