Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Tahrir Hamdi, President of the Arab Open University, the University held a graduation and certificate distribution ceremony for participants in the training program “Professional Video Editing and Visual Content Creation Using Adobe Premiere Pro." The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Muayad Hmeidi, Director of the Training and Community Service Center; Dr. Faisal Al-Sarhan, Dean of the Faculty of Media and Communication; the program's trainer, Mr. Mohammad Masad; as well as a number of academic staff members and participants.

The program was launched at the initiative of the Faculty of Media and Communication, reaffirming the University's commitment to developing the digital and media skills of faculty members, students, and graduates, and equipping them with modern tools for producing professional visual content that meets the needs of the media and education sectors. A total of 21 trainees enrolled in the program, including three academic staff members. Participants received comprehensive practical and theoretical training in video editing and visual content creation using Adobe Premiere Pro, progressing from the fundamentals to advanced production techniques aimed at creating work that meets professional and creative standards.

During the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Tahrir Hamdi emphasized that developing digital competencies has become a fundamental pillar of the modern university environment. She commended the efforts of the Training and Community Service Center and the Faculty of Media and Communication in delivering programs that combine knowledge with practical application and respond to the rapidly evolving needs of the media and content creation industries.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Muayad Hmeidi explained that the program forms part of the University's plans to diversify its training opportunities and respond to the professional and technological requirements of students, academic staff, and the local community, providing them with the skills demanded by modern workplaces.

Dr. Faisal Al-Sarhan noted that the Faculty of Media and Communication continues to develop its practical programs in line with its mission of preparing media professionals equipped with both knowledge and hands-on experience. He pointed out that mastering video editing tools and digital content production has become a professional necessity across various fields of media and education. He also reaffirmed the Faculty's commitment to offering specialized programs that enhance graduates' professional readiness and enable them to compete confidently in the labor market.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, certificates were distributed to the program's graduates, and trainer Mr. Mohammad Masad was honored in recognition of his contributions to training the participants and sharing his practical expertise with them. The ceremony concluded amid praise for the program's professional standard and the tangible progress the trainees achieved in developing their skills.
