Partnership Between Arab Open University and "Be Positive" to Empower People with Disabilities
The Arab Open University (AOU) in Jordan, represented by its Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the "Be Positive" Charity Association for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. This partnership aims to strengthen cooperation in the fields of economic empowerment and social inclusion for individuals with disabilities.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the University by its President, Prof. Tahrir Hamdi, and on behalf of the Association by its President, Ms. Nayfeh Al-Kurdi. The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Nabil Abu Lughod, Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and Dr. Israa Abu Al-Kashk, Director of the "Happiness Makers" Center, which will be established under this agreement.
The MoU aims to support people with disabilities by providing opportunities to showcase and market their products, promoting concepts of integration and inclusion within the university environment, and organizing joint events and activities that enhance communication between students and the local community.
