The Arab Open University – Jordan Organizes an Interactive Workshop on Managing Exam Stress
The Mental Health Center at the university organized a workshop titled “Managing Psychological Stress and Exam Anxiety,” as part of the Arab Open University – Jordan’s commitment to providing psychological and academic support to its students. The workshop was attended by Professor Dr. Tahrir Hamdi, President of the University, and Dr. Mimas Kammour, Director of the Center.
The workshop was delivered by Dr. Falah Al-Tamimi, Consultant Psychiatrist, who addressed effective ways to cope with exam stress, manage anxiety, enhance self-confidence, and build psychological readiness for the examination period.
The workshop included interactive activities with students, enabling them to acquire practical strategies to reduce anxiety and improve concentration during exams, thereby enhancing their ability to succeed and achieve academic excellence.
The President of the University emphasized that organizing such workshops is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to promote students’ mental well-being and to develop their academic and personal skills, in line with its educational and developmental mission.
