Arab Open University – Jordan Actively Participates in Coordinating Meeting of University Presidents and Deans of Student Affairs
The Arab Open University – Jordan participated in a coordinating meeting that brought together university presidents and deans of student affairs from private universities. Representing the university were Dr. Mufeed Abu Musa, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Samir Al-Sous, Dean of Student Affairs; and Dr. Musab Al-Laymoon, faculty member.
Hosted by Al-Hussein Technical University in collaboration with the Independent Election Commission, the meeting featured fruitful discussions on enhancing student participation in political life, developing their skills in constructive dialogue and debate, and equipping them with tools for decision-making participation. These discussions were part of the "I Participate" program, implemented by the Commission in cooperation with higher education institutions and the Crown Prince Foundation. The meeting also focused on issues related to academic systems, student programs, and ways to improve the educational environment to ensure the best services for students.
The Arab Open University's participation in this meeting reflects its ongoing commitment to strengthening communication and collaboration with various academic institutions, exchanging experiences, and developing strategic visions that support the continuous development of the private education sector in Jordan.
