College of Computer Studies Launches Workshop Series on "Using AI Tools in Scientific Research"
The College of Computer Studies at the Arab Open University – Jordan recently launched the first workshop in a series titled "Using AI Tools in Scientific Research," aimed at introducing researchers and enthusiasts to the latest AI-powered tools for enhancing research workflows. The inaugural session was attended by Dr. Khaled Al-Tahat, Dean of the College, and featured a presentation by Dr. Mohammad Al-Wadi on "Research Rabbit: An AI-Powered Tool to Enhance Research Workflow."
Dr. Al-Wadi's lecture highlighted the key features of Research Rabbit, demonstrating how it assists researchers in tracking scientific papers, building interactive mind maps of various topics, and dynamically linking studies and research papers to enrich and organize content. He also discussed the role of AI in accelerating access to reliable scientific sources and enhancing researchers' efficiency in gathering and analyzing information.
The session witnessed active participation from faculty members and graduate students, who engaged in discussions and posed numerous questions. This workshop is the first in a series aimed at equipping researchers with the knowledge and tools to leverage AI in their scientific endeavors.
