In a humanitarian gesture reflecting its social responsibility, the Arab Open University – Jordan has implemented an initiative for the second consecutive year to support General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) students during the current summer exam session. The initiative included distributing water bottles inside examination halls in coordination with the directorates of the Ministry of Education, as well as distributing water to students and their parents outside the halls via volunteer student teams.
The initiative aims to provide a more comfortable environment for students and to promote the values of volunteering and belonging among university students, reaffirming its commitment to its humanitarian and societal role.
Dr. Anas Ghazal, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, stated: "Through these initiatives, we strive to remain close to our community and students. Our role is not limited to education inside the classrooms, but extends to supporting students at various milestones in their lives."
This initiative underscores the keenness of the Arab Open University – Jordan to continue its societal role and enhance its presence in humanitarian initiatives supporting youth.
