The Arab Open University – Jordan Participates in the Conference on Bridging the Gap Between Academia and Industry
The Arab Open University in Jordan participated in the Conference on Bridging the Gap Between Academia and Industry in Jordan, organized by the Higher Council for Science and Technology. The University was represented by Professor Dr. Tahrir Hamdi, President of the University; Dr. Mufeed Abu Mousa, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty of Education; and Dr. Amjad Al-Sayouf, Dean of Scientific Research and faculty member.
The conference was inaugurated under the patronage and in the presence of Prince El Hassan bin Talal and Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, with wide participation from representatives of all Jordanian universities.
The conference aims to enhance cooperation between higher education institutions and the industrial and production sectors, thereby supporting innovation, developing national research capacities, and improving the alignment of educational outcomes with labor market needs.
