The Faculty of Education at the Arab Open University – Jordan Organizes a Workshop on Test Construction Mechanisms
The Practicum Program at the Faculty of Education at the Arab Open University – Jordan organized a remote workshop entitled “Mechanisms for Building Electronic Tests and the Table of Specifications.” The workshop was delivered by Dr. Yaseen Rababah, Dr. Basel Abu Foudeh, and Dr. Samir Al-Sous.
The workshop addressed several key topics, most notably the principles of constructing objective and essay tests, mechanisms for preparing the table of specifications, as well as analyzing and interpreting test results. The workshop aimed to enhance students’ skills in designing and evaluating tests according to accurate scientific methodologies.
The workshop received strong engagement and positive feedback from students, given the importance of test construction skills in preparing teachers equipped with 21st-century competencies, as these skills are considered fundamental pillars of the modern educational process.
This workshop is part of a series of training courses and workshops held by the Faculty of Education throughout the academic year, within the framework of the University’s strategic plan aimed at developing students’ capacities and qualifying them to keep pace with the latest educational and assessment methods.
