The Arab Open University – Jordan Organizes “My University, My Second Home” Initiative Amid Joyful and Festive Atmosphere
Amman – The Arab Open University – Jordan, represented by Professor Dr. Tahreer Hamdi, organized the initiative “My University, My Second Home,” which was held in a joyful atmosphere filled with games and recreational activities, with wide participation from university staff and their children.
The initiative aimed to strengthen the spirit of belonging and family closeness, as the university opened its doors to the children of its employees, allowing them to feel that the university is not only their parents’ workplace, but truly their second home in every sense of the word.
The event witnessed a large turnout of academic and administrative staff, including the participation of Dr. Mufeed Abu Mousa, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Anas Ghazalat, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, both of whom emphasized the importance of such initiatives in fostering a positive work environment and promoting a healthy work-life balance.
This initiative aligns with the vision of the university’s headquarters and is part of its strategic plan focused on enhancing community values and solidarity within the campus, positively impacting employee performance and institutional loyalty.
