The Faculty of Language Studies at the Arab Open University Holds Its First Advisory Board Meeting
The Faculty of Language Studies at the Arab Open University – Jordan held its first Advisory Board meeting, attended by the local Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Ola Kattaneh, along with several board members comprising distinguished academics and graduates.
This meeting comes as part of the Faculty’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of its academic programs and align them with labor market demands. It also aims to build effective communication bridges with its graduates and the local community, contributing to the development of the higher education system.
During the meeting, the board discussed its future vision to support the educational process, develop curricula, and promote research and cultural activities within the Faculty. Several joint action mechanisms were agreed upon for the upcoming phase, with the goal of serving students, improving the Faculty’s outcomes, and strengthening the university’s standing in both academic and professional environments.
In her remarks during the meeting, Dr. Ola Kattaneh, Dean of the Faculty, emphasized that the Advisory Board serves as “a vital platform for consultation and strategic planning, contributing to the expansion of partnerships between the Faculty and both academic and professional communities.”
