Arab Open University – Jordan Organizes a Friendly Meeting Between the University President, Student Council, and Alumni Club
The Student Affairs Department at the Arab Open University – Jordan organized a dialogue meeting that brought together Prof. Dr. Tahreer Hamdi, the University Director, with the Student Council and the Administrative Board of the Alumni Club, as part of preparations for the upcoming academic year.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Tahreer Hamdi, accompanied by Dr. Sameer Al-Sous, Dean of Student Affairs, listened to the opinions and suggestions of the students and alumni representatives regarding potential activities and events to be organized at the start of the academic year. She emphasized the importance of fostering a spirit of initiative and encouraging student engagement in university life.
The meeting featured a fruitful discussion on various issues of interest to students and aimed at supporting their academic and social journey within the university. Topics included ways to develop student activities, strengthen connections between students and alumni, and enhance the role of student clubs in a manner that benefits students and enriches their university experience.
At the end of the meeting, the Alumni Club, represented by the President of its Administrative Board, Ms. Tamara Abu Khreiba, presented a commemorative plaque to Prof. Dr. Tahreer Hamdi.
In her closing remarks, Prof. Dr. Tahreer Hamdi reaffirmed the university administration’s support for all positive initiatives that serve the interests of the students, praising the spirit of cooperation and responsibility demonstrated by the participants.
