Arab Open University – Jordan Celebrates the 79th Anniversary of the Independence of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan
Amman – On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the independence of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Design, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs at the Arab Open University – Jordan, organized a distinguished national celebration. University administration, along with all its members from the academic and administrative staff and students, participated in this event, embodying the spirit of belonging and pride in the homeland amidst a festive atmosphere filled with pride.
The celebration program included a variety of national and entertainment activities, the most prominent of which was signing the Wall of Loyalty and Belonging. Through this, participants expressed their love for Jordan and pride in its Hashemite leadership.
In her speech, Professor Dr. Tahir Hamed, the university's director, stated: "Our celebration today of Independence Day is a sincere expression of our love and loyalty to this dear homeland and an opportunity to instill national values in the hearts of our students. We are proud of the country's achievements and remember the sacrifices that made this glorious independence possible under the wise Hashemite leadership."
Dr. Anas Ghazalat, Vice President for Financial and Administrative Affairs, also highlighted the importance of participating in this national occasion, emphasizing that celebrating Independence Day is an opportunity to strengthen the bond among the university family and reinforce the collective national identity that we all take pride in.
