Vacancy Announcement: Faculty Position – Assistant Professor in Journalism and Media
The Arab Open University – Jordan is seeking to recruit a full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor in Journalism and Media, in accordance with the following requirements:
The candidate must hold a PhD degree from a globally ranked university. Priority will be given to graduates from English-speaking countries.
Proficiency in both Arabic and English is required.
All academic degrees (Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD) must be in the same field or in closely related specializations.
All academic qualifications must be certified by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Applications that do not meet the above criteria or are missing any of the following documents will not be considered:
Academic and professional CV, including experience certificates.
The first page of each published paper or acceptance letter for papers accepted for publication (if available).
Copies of academic certificates and transcripts (PhD, Master’s, Bachelor’s, and High School).
Certification/attestation of academic degrees from the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education.
Criminal record clearance certificate.
Identification documents: national ID, family book, passport, and a recent personal photo.
