Ahmad Ali
I have been an assistant professor of
English at AOU-Jordan since September 2023. I obtained my PhD in English
from the University of Sussex in the UK. I have experience teaching a variety
of subjects, including ESP courses, the English novel, novel theory, English
and American literature, and children’s literature, among others. My research draws
mainly on postcolonial theory and trauma theory to explore the fictional representations
of the Nakba, and other colonized locations.
