The Arab Open University – Jordan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Arab Professional Human Resources Association (APHRA) to strengthen collaboration in the areas of training, professional development, and human capital development.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the university by Prof. Tahrir Hamdi, Director of the Arab Open University – Jordan, while Mr. Nidal Shalabi, Chairman of APHRA's Administrative Board, signed on behalf of the association. The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Anas Ghazalat, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and Prof. Moayad Al-Humaidi, Director of the Training and Community Service Center.
The MoU establishes a framework for cooperation in education, training, and professional development. It also includes the organization of conferences, seminars, workshops, and training programs, as well as the exchange of expertise, research, and academic studies aimed at developing human capital and enhancing professional performance.
Commenting on the partnership, Prof. Moayad Al-Humaidi, Director of the Training and Community Service Center, stated that the agreement represents an important step toward expanding the university's professional partnerships. He noted that collaboration with APHRA will contribute to the development of high-quality training programs that strengthen the skills of students and graduates, enhancing their readiness for the labor market.
He further emphasized that the Training and Community Service Center is committed to building strategic partnerships with specialized professional organizations to deliver high-quality, practical training programs that support human development and respond to the evolving needs of the job market.
This partnership reflects the Arab Open University – Jordan's ongoing commitment to strengthening cooperation with professional and training institutions, while advancing educational and training initiatives that prepare highly qualified graduates capable of competing successfully in today's dynamic labor market.
