As part of a positive initiative by the Arab Open University to strengthen communication with educational institutions both within Jordan and internationally, Dr. Sameer Alsous from the Faculty of Education and Dr. Aws Abu Eid from the Faculty of Information Technology and Computing held a training workshop for 10th-grade students at Sky National Schools on writing stories using artificial intelligence applications.
The students were trained on how to improve their writing by interacting with AI programs about the stories they had written, with the ability to modify, add, or delete content. Prior to the event, a meeting was held with the school's principal, Dr. Hikmat Haha, and Arabic language supervisor, Mr. Ali Al-Fakhouri, to discuss ways of advancing scientific development in the field of artificial intelligence and its application in the educational field. At the end of the meeting, the school principal expressed gratitude for the spirit of cooperation between the Arab Open University and the school.
This workshop is part of the Arab Open University's vision to serve the local community, collaborate with educational institutions, and offer valuable services.
