The Arab Open University launched its first training program for the academic year 2024-2025, with a practical course titled “Diagnosis and Treatment of Speech Sound Disorders" on Monday, September 30, 2024. This course, which will run for four days, features both local and international participation. The course prepared and presented by Professor Moayyad Homidi, focuses on speech sound disorders in children—from understanding to detection and assessment, and then exploring the techniques of treatment. The course targets speech therapists, special education specialists, and primary school and kindergarten teachers.

The goal of the course is to provide essential clinical and practical skills in diagnosing and treating speech-sound disorders. A total of 28 participants from Jordan, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, including students and professionals, will take part in the course.​
