A Memorandum of Understanding and Training was signed at the Arab Open University between the University, represented by the Center for Continuing Education and Community Service, and the IAB Group, a network of British professional institutes focusing on enhancing accounting, banking, and commercial professions. The agreement was endorsed and signed by Prof. Tahrir Hamdi, University Director, and Ms. Sarah Palmer, CEO of the IAB Group.

The purpose of this agreement is to provide quality, practical training programs for the local community and establish diploma programs in line with labor market requirements, contributing to achieving sustainable development goals.

Prof. Hamdi reiterated the University's role in serving the local community and offering employment opportunities through strategic partnerships for training programs that align with the needs of the job market. Ms. Sarah Palmer praised the University's services and emphasized the importance of the agreement in supporting the local community by providing internationally recognized professional certifications and training opportunities to empower youth according to labor market demands​
