Arab Open University – Jordan Participates in a Visit to Aqaba Digital City as Part of a Delegation of Deans of Information Technology Faculties in Jordanian Universities
Dr. Mohammad Al-Wadi, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Studies at the Arab Open University – Jordan, took part in the field visit organized by Aqaba University of Technology for the deans of Computer and Information Technology faculties in Jordanian universities. The visit aimed to explore the latest developments in Aqaba Digital City.
The Digital City includes an advanced range of technological infrastructure, including a modern data center complex, a maritime landing station, a public cloud platform, and a specialized technical training center. These components collectively enhance the digital transformation environment and support innovation in the national technology sector.
