Honoring Dr. Faisal Al-Sarhan for His Participation in the Judging Committee of the Abdul Hameed Shoman Award for Arab Researchers 2025
The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation, the cultural and social arm of the Arab Bank Group, honored the members of the judging committees who participated in evaluating the research submissions for the Abdul Hameed Shoman Award for Arab Researchers 2025, in recognition of their efforts in supporting Arab scientific research and promoting a culture of creativity and knowledge.
Among those honored was Dr. Faisal Ahmed Al-Sarhan, Dean of the Faculty of Journalism and Media at the Arab Open University – Jordan, for his role as a member of the judging committee in the field of “The Role of Media in Manufacturing Consent,” one of the newly introduced fields in this year’s award categories.
Dr. Al-Sarhan expressed his pride in participating in this pioneering scientific initiative, affirming that the Abdul Hameed Shoman Award represents a distinguished Arab scientific platform that motivates researchers and encourages the production of high-quality knowledge that serves development and societal issues.
During the ceremony, his fellow committee members were also honored in appreciation of their academic contributions and active participation in ensuring the success of the evaluation process, which was marked by transparency, accuracy, and objectivity.
