Arab Open University – Jordan Participates in the Digital Universities Conference in Muscat 2025
Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Open University, the Digital Universities in the Arab World 2025 Conference was inaugurated in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, by H.E. Dr. Khamis bin Saif Al Jabri, Head of Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Unit.
The conference was attended by H.E. Prof. Rahma Al-Mahrooqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, along with Dr. Mohammad Al-Zakari, President of the Arab Open University (AOU) across the Arab world, Prof. Mohammad bin Hamdan Al-Badi, Director of AOU – Oman Branch, and a number of distinguished academic figures.
At this important event, Sarah Al-Saraira, an Artificial Intelligence student from Arab Open University – Jordan, took part in a panel discussion titled: “What Do Students Want from the Digital University?”
Representing AOU, Sarah contributed valuable insights into the role of AI in enhancing the digital learning experience for students.
She highlighted several innovative approaches that can significantly improve digital education, including:
