Amman – The Student Affairs Department at the Arab Open University – Jordan organized the second orientation workshop for newly enrolled students in the summer term, conducted via the Zoom application. This event is part of a campaign of awareness sessions designed to familiarize students with the university’s systems and academic services.
The workshop began with a speech by Dr. Samir Al‑Souss, Dean of Student Affairs, who welcomed the new students and provided a practical demonstration on how to use the university’s electronic systems, such as the Learning Management System (LMS) and the Student Information System (SIS).
Dr. Al‑Souss emphasized the importance of positive interaction between students and faculty, noting that the university aims to foster an encouraging educational environment through the provision of academic and psychological support, and by utilizing modern teaching methods that enrich the learning experience.
