The Open Arab University – Jordan Concludes “CV Preparation” Workshop Organized by the Alumni Club
The Deanship of Student Affairs, in cooperation with the Continuing Education and Training Center and under the organization of the Alumni Club at the Open Arab University – Jordan, successfully concluded a training workshop titled “CV Preparation”. The session was delivered by Engineer Mohammad Nidal Al‑Dawood from the Jordan Engineers Association and was attended by current students, recent and former alumni, as well as participants from other institutions, including the American University of Sharjah and the University of Islamic Sciences.
Workshop Objectives:
Train participants to create a professional, well-structured CV
Identify and avoid common mistakes in CV writing
Establish a database of students and graduates interested in training and employment opportunities
Dr. Mufeed Abu Mousa, Vice President for Academic Affairs, highlighted the workshop's importance in helping students and graduates better prepare for the job market. He emphasized that the university strives to equip its community with practical skills that align with the latest market requirements.
The Alumni Club’s administrative board asserted that this workshop offered a valuable opportunity to strengthen graduates' readiness for employment. Tamara Abu Khraibe, Club President, added:
"We at the Club always aim to organize such events to provide ongoing support to our graduates and students, as part of our efforts to expand their employment opportunities."
In conclusion, the Deanship of Student Affairs expressed its gratitude to all participants, affirming that the workshop represents a significant step toward developing the skills of students and alumni and boosting their confidence as they enter the workforce.
