Arab Open University – Jordan Holds Its First Administrative Board Meeting for the Alumni Club
Arab Open University – Jordan recently convened the inaugural meeting of the Alumni Club's Administrative Board at its Amman campus. The session was led by Dr. Samir Al-Sous, Dean of Student Affairs, along with newly elected board members representing various graduating classes and academic disciplines.
Dr. Al-Sous opened the meeting with a warm welcome, expressing pride in the university’s alumni and emphasizing the institution's dedication to strengthening ties with them and benefiting from their expertise to support current students and the broader university community .
The agenda included a review of the university’s key achievements over recent years, such as expanding academic programs, advancing in university rankings, and enhancing services provided to both students and graduates .
Members also discussed proposals to activate the Alumni Club’s role. Highlights of the proposals included:
Hosting an open day for all alumni cohorts.
Organizing professional development courses and workshops.
Launching ongoing initiatives to maintain continuous engagement between alumni and the university.
