Arab Open University – Jordan Organizes Specialized Training Programs for the Jordanian Autism Academy
The Center for Training and Continuing Education at the Arab Open University – Jordan organized a specialized training course delivered by Professor Dr. Moayad Hmoudi, the Director of the Center. This course comes as part of the Jordanian Autism Academy’s ongoing efforts to develop its staff’s skills and enhance the quality of services provided to individuals with autism.
Areas of collaboration between the two institutions were also discussed with the Academy’s General Director, Dr. Jamal Al-Dalahmeh, in the presence of Professor Dr. Nejati Bani Younis.
The course aimed to strengthen the capabilities of the Academy’s staff and equip them with the latest scientific methods and advanced techniques in the care and rehabilitation of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The course witnessed broad participation from the Academy’s employees, who benefited from workshops and lectures that focused on the latest knowledge and scientific trends in this field.
Professor Dr. Moayad Hmoudi emphasized that this collaboration is a renewed affirmation of the importance of continuing education and specialized training in enhancing the competencies of professionals working in this sensitive area. He added that this type of training significantly contributes to improving the quality of care provided and creating a direct positive impact on the lives of individuals with autism.
For his part, Dr. Jamal Al-Dalahmeh expressed his pride in this fruitful cooperation between the Academy and the Arab Open University – Jordan, affirming that such specialized training is an important step toward improving the quality of services provided to individuals with autism.
At the conclusion of the course, participants were honored, and certificates of participation were distributed, reflecting the appreciation of both the Academy and the Arab Open University for the efforts made to enhance staff skills and improve the level of care provided.
