Dr. Raeda Tartory is an associate professor of discourse analysis,
translation, and applied linguistics in general. She obtained her Ph.D. in conversation
analysis and language and gender from the University of Sussex in the UK. She
is currently teaching at Arab Open University (AOU), Jordan Branch. She has
published articles in different well-known academic journals, most of which are
indexed in Scopus and Clarivate Analytics. Her research interest revolves
around discourse analysis, conversation analysis, language and gender, and
translation topics. She has approximately 16 years of teaching experience at
the university level. She taught a variety of graduate and post-graduate
courses in linguistics and translation.
