Dr. Fadi Bani Ahmed, Associate Professor in Educational Technology, has built a prominent career focused on integrating technology to advance educational practices. After completing his Ph.D. at Cairo University in 2015, a master's degree at Amman Arab University in 2006, and a bachelor’s from Al al-Bayt University, he joined the Middle East University, where he held multiple roles, including Head of the Educational Technology Department from 2019 to 2021 and Assistant Dean for Quality Affairs in 2020/2021. Promoted to Associate Professor in 2021, he also served as departmental coordinator before returning to his role as acting head. Currently, Dr. Fadi is a faculty member at the Arab Open University, focusing on the master's program in Educational Technology.

Dr. Fadi’s research emphasizes creating educational strategies that leverage digital innovations and AI to improve academic outcomes and student skills across various subjects. His studies explore how educational robots enhance engineering math skills in primary school students and the benefits of online problem-solving strategies for cultural understanding. In higher education, he investigates the adoption of digital tools and the effectiveness of AI-based virtual labs and augmented reality in boosting student motivation, visual thinking, and analytical skills. Dr. Fadi has presented at major conferences, including the 2021 International Conference on Information Technology (ICIT), where he discussed the "Cyber Hunt" strategy’s impact on math performance, and the 2023 ICIT, where he examined factors influencing students’ adoption of digital tools and the effectiveness of "Nearpod" in training educators to design interactive lessons.
