Public Relations Department at the Arab Open University / Jordan was established to be a mirror that reflects the image of the university goals, and the level of its educational outputs for the local, Arab and international community, to present a clear picture of the university's progress. In addition to, playing an effective role in linking the university with other regional and international institutions and administrative bodies. The department also provides the necessary logistics to conduct various activities such as seminars and conferences, and extracurricular activities such as exhibitions and sports tournaments, and facilitates the task of official delegations visit to the University.
In the field of media, the department is keen to coordinate with the media such as radio and television, news agencies and others for the media coverage of events organized by the university, and also keen to prepare reports and press news about these events.
In the field of marketing, the Public Relations Department organizes the university's marketing plan on the various available marketing channels and works on preparing a study of the success of the marketing plan.

· Editing the news reports and press releases and the university's periodical magazine.
· Posting advertisements in local newspapers, weekly newspapers, websites, the main website of the university, social networking sites and others.
· Coordination of services and events provided to the local community and media coverage of them.
· Welcoming university's guests, preparing their visit schedule, and coordinating their activities inside and outside the campus.
· Preparing the university's marketing campaign.
